บ้านเจ้าพระยารามราฆพ
Chao Phraya Ramrakop Residence
Hua Hin, Pratchuap Khiri Kan
This teak and cement block house on cement pillars is the only house remaining that was built for the entourage of
king Rama VI. It is typical of the seaside houses of the 1900's with open verandas and a tiled roof. It was the residence
of Chao Phraya Ramrakop who was the General Aide-de-camp to the King, and also a oyal Page. From the veranda, the
General could see the signal lights from the Palace: yellow means that the King is getting dressed for dinner, so the
general could proceed to the Palace - before the ight changed to green, which meant that the King was already at dinner.
