Propagation Speed Factor takes into account, that waves travel much faster in air than on pcb.
The result is somehow a mixture.

The design is based on Silicon Labs AN639.

The Matching Capacitor is directly at the BNC (output). Introducing long coaxial cables (100 pF / m) may ruin your day.
Use a Preamplifier instead.
