The Preamplifier has been built on a own PCB, because it may have to be replaced (if students try to measure Line Frequency) or it may be useful for other projects.

The Device consumes about 40 mA at 15 V Supply. It consists of two amplifiers and two limiter stages. The gain is about 100 ( 40dB ). Higher gain may result in
oscillation.
